Audition Notice for September 2005

Experienced choral singers in all voice parts are invited to audition for Summit Chorale's 2005-06 season of three major concerts. Eclectic repertoire will include Poulenc's Gloria, David Conte's Invocation and Dance, both with chamber orchestra, as well as contemporary short works based on themes of nature and a pops program of music for the stage. Under the inspiring leadership of music director Richard Garrin, singers polish their vocal technique with a conductor who prepared professional choruses for the Chicago Symphony Chorus. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings in the United Methodist Church of New Providence, 1441 Springfield Ave., New Providence, NJ, from 7:30 to 10 PM.

Interested singers are encouraged to attend open rehearsals on Tuesday September 13 and 20 from 7:30 - 10 PM. Later, auditions will be held on Thursday evening, September 22.
