There is a sound exhibit at New York City's Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) until July 6 that your readers should be told about. It is by Janet Cardiff, who has recorded the Salisbury Cathedral choir singing Thomas Tallis Motet in 40 parts. But not just the usual recording. She recorded each part separately, and replays them from 40 speakers in a room at MOMA.

The piece repeats every 15 minutes or so and is stunning. You can sit in the middle of the room, or walk around and listen to each speaker separately. I stayed for more than an hour! I highly recommend a visit.
